Rocky River Bar & Grille in Loveland

Loveland has great restaurants. Don’t eat here. The menu online looked great, but when I ordered no one told me that the items I was trying to order were no longer ON the menu so I ended up with the wrong food entirely. The manager was wonderful and offered a new dinner on the house but honestly their new menu doesn’t look very good. I also ordered fries which I got the ketchup for but no fries. Eat somewhere else.

Food was expensive, and the selection was really small – the have burgers sandwiches and a few entrees - but we wanted to make the best of it. My wife ordered the Chicken Cappellini for $20. I ordered the 12 oz. NY Strip for $28. Her food was okay, not great, but edible. I ordered my steak medium rare and it came out almost well done. The sad thing is it had almost no sear on it, yet was drastically overcooked – not even sure how that happens. They offered to make another one, but this one came out raw. It literally was ice cold in the center. I did not even take a chance after that. I simply sent it back and did not bother to eat. I do not trust a third entrée cooked from the same kitchen. They were gracious enough not to charge me for the steak, but with my wife’s $20 entrée, a martini and a glass of scotch, our dinner came to $54 before tip. Did I mention this place is expensive?

This place was a great. I loved the food.

The burger was excellent, and the nachos are enough for 4 or 5 people as an app. Five options for kids' menu, service was great and you can watch your car charge if you are so inclined.

Nice Place. Great service and very personalized. Food was not bad as well. Did not try drinks but they do have a big selection. Very conveniently located in Embassy Suites Loveland Hotel. Employees here are just the opposite of the Spa in disposition.
